What amazes me the most is the fact that God has an amazing plan for each and every one of us. Each small happening in everyday life and chance encounters lead us to the destination that God has prepared for us. Triumph, Trials and Tragedy combine the clay that becomes art through the potters hand.
I personally never expected to be writing a letter for a missionary website, or even be working in the medical field at all. A hasty decision to join the Army as an Infantry Medic led me to become a Paramedic and finally a Registered Nurse. Even though I excel in civilian medicine, I have always felt that there was more.
I believe that I found my calling when I traveled to Kenya in 2006. My eyes were opened to the overwhelming poverty and needs that exist in the world, but more importantly my heart was opened to the awesome grace and glory of God. I was privileged to be part of a spiritual revival, and witness miracles that no man can explain.
Now, my wife, Melissa and I, have become full time missionaries. I will be taking groups of nurses and other medical professionals to underpriveldged countries. We will also be assisting in provideng food, medical supplies, clothing and school supplies to these areas.
The first trip will be to Liberia and Kenya in November of 2007.
